A lot of people go to a lot of places to play baseball. Doesn't mean they were invited! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Speaking of that, Kurt Russell was supposedly in the Angels AA in the early 70's as a 2nd baseman and he was hitting over .400 or something. Apparently he had a bad injury and had to hang 'em up. Professional Badass.

Along the same lines. Ed O'neil (Al Bundy) played D1 college football at Ohio University. Randall Cunningham's backup at UNLV was ESPN's Kenny Mayne. Adam Dunn played QB behind Major Applewhite and Chris Simms at Texas.

If some statistician was really bored and could manage to get together something like 1000 facts that are near as good as some in here, he could make a hell of a lot of money. There are 10-15 things in here that have made this thread one of my favorites in a long time.
