I read half of a spoiler in BBV4life because he posted under the name "Darym" and I trust Daryns posts to be spoiler free over all others.

Was it just me or did Desmond not tell Charlie he would be surrounded by women when he was explaining his vision. At the time I just assumed Charlie would be accompanying the women from the camp. Does anybody else remember him saying that or was I having a vision?

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] what's up with sayid's girlfriend nadia being that chick that charlie saved? [/ QUOTE ] that just seems to be another example of the ridiculous amount of interconnectivity between characters in the show--I'm sure its relevance will become apparent eventually. [/ QUOTE ] right i'm just saying nobody mentioned it in the thread [/ QUOTE ] nice! i am glad you brought this up. i said this to the people i was watching it with and they all told me i was crazy |

Sorry guys, I wasn't here for my usual 'so sick' and 'OMG' posts during the telecast. I lvl'd 39 in Warcraft, one more to go until my mount!!
That said, I am tempted to go back a couple weeks and repost my 'Who's vulnerable vs. Who's not' post. I got flamed for it, basically because some thought I got it totally wrong. I didn't respond, but this show is laying a lot of things on really thick, so I will restate the one person who is not vulnerable: Charlie This season, the second half at least, has hinged on him. I REALLY feel he is not going to die on the island. If we have to hear Desmond say one more time that he is going to die, I'm going to find odds somewhere and lay it all on Charlie surviving. They are playing this too heavy handed. And I LOVED the ending tonight - it seemed to redeem every opinion I've had of Charlie since I saw him snorting H in one of his first flashbacks. His Oaring of Desmond, the note to Claire, the hug of Hurley, everything is leading to Charlie being intrinsic to the salvation of the losties. If we're talking Biblical parallels, I think you put Charlie in as a Peter or Saul. I just think he is going to be too important to kill off (especially after we see him getting beat up by the hot underwater lesbians in next week's preview). I have too much more to say about this ep, which I loved, so I'll just stop now, post later. - Jay |

So I started watching tonights episode thinking this was the season finale. About 1/4 of the way through I'm thinking to myself, this is terrible, I can't believe they made the season finale a stupid Charlie flashback.
Pretty funny. Overall as an episode it was solid, but during the episode I was majorly dissapointed thinking that this is all they could come up with for a season finale. |

not sure if we can talk about next weeks preview in this thread, but there are scenes that kind of explain what happens next with charlie/desmond.
