I couldn't be more excited and optimistic about the future of this team.

I just hope the NBA is ready for Rajon Rondo next year.

Wishlist

1. Top 2 pick (OBV)
2. Return to health for Tony Allen (this is huge IMO)
3. Good lineup rotations (always a major ? with Glenn Rivers)

With the above three wishes coming true, there is NO REASON this team cannot win 50+ games next year.

I am clueless why Celtics fans are so adamant that Rajon Rondo is the next great PG in the NBA, when no one who follows the NBA that isn't a Celtics fan would agree.

We've been so bad for so long and without any semblence of a point guard, we don't remember what a good point guard looks like. But having said that I LOVE RONDO!

Rondo isn't great, but he is a very good fit for this team, which really doesn't need a scoring PG so long as there is someone other than Pierce who can shoot on the floor (hellooooo Durant). Plays solid defense, can penetrate well.

Umm, considering that going into the season Bassy was one of our top PG's, I think that may cloud many Boston fans perceptions of Rondo. He'll still be a solid contributor in the coming years though.

For better or for worse, Rondo is the point guard of the future.

He doesn't turn the ball over, plays amazing defense, and pushes the pace.

With Big Al and Pierce, that is fine.

I have no clue why people don't like Delonte at the point.
