Should be 144. Just multiply the number of tables listed by 8.

edit: 1 empty seat, so yes 143.

If there are 18 tables then there could be anywhere from 137-144 players.

Cardplayer lists 3 empty seats (141 players) but has the number of entrants listed as 143.

Quick aside - are other people having trouble playing the Cardplayer videos? Can't get them to work in either FireFox or IE.

This is BS: its a 50,000 event, and according to CardPlayer, they can't even give the players a new deck of cards?

AFter moving away from Binion's the WSOP will never be the same...Harrah's doesn't give a $hit about the players..it gives a $hit about the business...if they can get away without accomodating the players and still turn a profit what do they care? I mean seriously..they have no incentive to cater to $hit because people are going to show and put up exorbitant entry free anyways.

dumb response.

So if some lottery winner buys in, sits down, and luckboxes his way to the final table....he is somehow more "worthy" of a HORSE title than a seasoned pro who happens to have backers?

explain your logic.
