So they ended up with 143 entrants?

Should be 144. Just multiply the number of tables listed by 8.
edit: 1 empty seat, so yes 143. |

If there are 18 tables then there could be anywhere from 137-144 players.
Cardplayer lists 3 empty seats (141 players) but has the number of entrants listed as 143. |

Quick aside - are other people having trouble playing the Cardplayer videos? Can't get them to work in either FireFox or IE.

This is BS: its a 50,000 event, and according to CardPlayer, they can't even give the players a new deck of cards?

[/ QUOTE ] AFter moving away from Binion's the WSOP will never be the same...Harrah's doesn't give a $hit about the players..it gives a $hit about the business...if they can get away without accomodating the players and still turn a profit what do they care? I mean seriously..they have no incentive to cater to $hit because people are going to show and put up exorbitant entry free anyways. |

dumb response.
So if some lottery winner buys in, sits down, and luckboxes his way to the final table....he is somehow more "worthy" of a HORSE title than a seasoned pro who happens to have backers? explain your logic. |
