the BBC commentators are being such unbelievably bad losers are Portugal-England. Portugal were dodgyb ut the idea that England deserved to make the final or the semis is laughable.

Agreed on the England comment. No matter if England deserved to win vs Portugal or not, their team haven't shown anything that makes them deserve a semi. As they didn't do in 04, 02, 00, 98 ............... either. Football isn't coming home, face the facts [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img].

good game, especially the ending. Figo missing that header...wow.

I didn't think France created many chances, and the PK I thought was deserved.

Portugal created just a fre more (mostly at the end though).

France-Italy will be good, but I except Italy to win their 4th.

Rough game, but I BelievePortugal played better futbol all around. THe PK was the right call,but you hate to see a game decided by that during regulation. Ricardo also almost took it down, unreal. If it had gone to OT forget about it. Congrats to France.

there are several other teams that quote applies to more than the portogeuse.

although there were a couple disgraceful dives in this game.

i really agree that, in the same way that they give stiffer penalties during an after-game review of very dirty fouls, they should have an after-game review of dives and penalize those that aren't penalized for them during the game. it really is ugly.

that being said, i think ronaldo dived maybe once this game? i don't understand wtf you were talking about with respect to him. he had a brilliant game and was really the only spark in the entire portogeuse offence.
