[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Did you just tell him to look for the word "all" in this post? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, because it's not there. That's my point. [/ QUOTE ] Then Im still missing the point. Were we still supposed to look for "cannot", or are we supposed to also notice where that isnt? [/ QUOTE ] Want to see if we can find an online version of Where's Waldo when I get home? |

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] But the simple fact is my vegetarian lifestyle reduces the overall death and misery on this planet. [/ QUOTE ] your delusions about the impact of your dietary decisions reduce your own quality of life. [/ QUOTE ] This isn't a delusion. One person obviously can only affect the world so much, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to do what you think is right. If someone donates $50 to charity, you don't say to them "dude, what difference is $50 going to make?" If someone goes out of their way to recycle, do you tell them that what they are doing is pointless and stupid because they simply don't produce enough garbage to make recycling worth it? People should keep doing the little things they think make the world better, and if everyone did these things maybe the little things would add up to big things. |

[ QUOTE ] Vegetarianism is NOT a culture. It's a dietary choice, no more, no less. [/ QUOTE ] I'm guessing you're not a vegetarian. [/ QUOTE ] Aunt Voula: What do you mean he don't eat no meat? [the entire room stops, in shock] Aunt Voula: Oh, that's okay. I make lamb. |
