My name is Alex. I'm a 19 year old junior at Penn State University (about to turn 20 in a few weeks). I literally have no idea why I chose to use my real name as my handle, probably not the smartest idea. I didn't start using the account until about a year after I created it, and this is what it was the first time I signed on. My log-on id is the one I usually use for these things. I guess I got confused somewhere in the sign-up process.

I was born Ukraine, and moved to the US when I was 5. Consequently, I'm fluent in Russian, as that is what my parents speak. I've lived in or around Philly throughout my life pre-college. My achievements regarding my intelligence are similar to many of you guys, so I won't bore you with them. Let's just say I considered myself to be fairly extraordinary before I joined 2p2.

I played Magic semi-seriously during my late middle school/early high school years. Interestingly enough, the Magic forum that I used to post in also found Werewolf (though they called it Mafia) sometime when I was there. Unsurprisingly, the craze took off just like it has here.

Unlike many POGgers, I do have aspirations in poker. Two of my good friends from PSU dropped out and moved to Vegas within the past year. I, and another friend, will likely be joining them upon graduation. I've played NL (up to 2/5) my whole life, but I started to take up limit a few months ago. Recently I've been 3 tabling 5/10 on Stars. In fact, I'll probably be taking a break from POG for a little while so that I can actually get some hours in.

I play a variety of sports recreationally with friends, including football, basketball, and tennis. The only sport I've played competitively is soccer; the last time being in 9th grade.

I drink and smoke - weed, not cigarettes - on a fairly regular basis.

i was trying to figure out how VR got her modship. She only had like 500 posts before she found pog. So I went to that board and searched VoraciousReader. But other than that, yes I am stalking her

I'm Joel. I'm a senior math major at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In the past I have been a bio, comp sci and physics major, and will be applying to graduate school for next fall. I'm fairly lazy but very intelligent, probably more than most of you. I'm also very arrogant.

I have a girlfriend of nearly a year who goes to school in NY, where I hope to join her next year (Columbia/NYU/New School of Social Sciences).

I have strange taste in music. I like Tool, RATM, various indie rap, techno, some "emo" and various other things.

Growing up I was always very short, very thin and a bit wierd. Now I'm average height, still thin and completely f*cked up in the head. Love it for the most part though.

I spend my free time (of which I have a lot, because I don't devote as much as I could to classes/clubs) playing poker (not as well as I could), sports (soccer, ultimate, basketball, pool, bowling, mini golf), WW and chilling with friends.

Politically I think most of you are total assbags, and I'll just leave it at that.

Eric

BS Dicsrete Math, MBA, PMP

My title is software engineer right now, but that is just a title. My title a few months ago was much cooler, Chief Financial Officer of a small manufacturer; the stories I could tell from that 6 month tour would make everyone want to rush out and start a company (becuase if these guys could make money...)

I like most types of music.

I'm old by 2+2 standards, 36.

Maried with two daughters (1 and 3 years old). Own a house

Hobies - myriad. I don't consider poker a hoby any more, though, it is more like work (which isn't to say I don't like work, but hobbies are generally something you can or cannot do on a whim.)

ENTJ

Quite likely going back for a PhD sometime soon, probably in Econ, but possibly Math, CS, Phys, or Psych. I think Charlottesville, VA is where I will end up living long term. I would go back to Blacksburg, but UVA has a very good teaching hospital, and that is high on my list of requirements.
