wtf is up with FTP?

They are telling me I can't wire more money that $5400 a day in $1800 clips via MoneyGram or whatever. So I need to spend 3 days and 9 wires to moved 15k?!

Is this right?

I want to get a new laptop. I currently have a dell inspiron e 1705 and i hate it. I've had problems with it since I bought it 14 months ago(blue screen of death, battery problems, and then I spilled a bunch of beer on it which didn't help). Can someone pick me out a new one? Instead of the huge 19 inch screen I think I want something a lot smaller for classes/traveling and then if I want to have a serious session I can just buy a bigass monitor.

I was considering getting a mac that can run windows, but I don't know all that much about this stuff. Any help would be appreciated. If anyone finds me a good deal I'll do them some sort of favor (coaching/live sweat/hh reviews/cash etc).

Thanks,
Dan

I have had good experiences with Sony laptops. Nice design, no problems, solid. I am no computer guru though.

I just installed Vista on a buddy's Macbook pro for poker. He is able to run PT, PAHUD, FTP, Stars, etc. on the Windows side of it with no problems. This is a pretty simple process btw.

What are you looking for? I'm fairly versed in laptops because I and all my friends just picked one up for college..PM me with questions. I'd love a free sweat!

I have an HP dv6000t (dv6500t is the newer model, came out like a day after I ordered mine) and I love it. It's only 15.4" because I thought the 17" was a little too cumbersome. I can 4 table on it no problem, but I have a 20.1" external that I play on. Great great laptop though.
