Nice defense, Everton. I guess I am happy to see them draw. Not a very interesting day today. Chelsea have an easy win. I don't really see any interesting matchups today. I wish Fulham were on FSC. [/ QUOTE ] Credit to Everton, they defended really well. |

omfg. After missing the first ~30 min., I am watching Blackburn/Sheffield U. via TVants and have to shut it off so that I can get a last minute CBB bet in right after Warnock gets sent off. I finish and check the score on the off chance Sheffield U., who had been playing much better over the last few minutes and now were up a man, got a winner. No, 2-1 to Blackburn! I swear to God that team cannot even score unless I am not watching.

Was the boro player in the area for that penalty? From my seat it looked like he was fouled outside and fell inside

we'll own half the prem is ten years. [/ QUOTE ] The official press conference was hilarious. 'Liverpool Reds', 'goaltender', 'defencemen', 'franchise' etc. All the time Rick Parry (chief executive) looked like he was suffering immensely. Like a man about to be sacked perhaps. (To be fair, the new owners made it clear they were no football experts.) All in all, this will certainly be good for LFC. |

I find this purchase interesting. You have two American billionaires, with previous experience running a sports franchise, buying Liverpool. This has to be better than the DIC buying them.
I wonder if Liverpool will play with a Harlem globetrotters like ball....... Also, I thought I read a rumor somewhere that the DIC is trying to now buy into Arsenal. |
