I wonder what WFAN will do to replace his time slot. [/ QUOTE ] Best of Imus LDO [/ QUOTE ] Imus is an idiot. And yet -- I kind of can't believe I'm linking to an apparatchik -- this post nails it. Please read. http://michellemalkin.com/archives/007286.htm |

1. Not a fan of Imus, but can't believe he got fired over this.
2. It's nothing you don't hear in music, TV, movies all the time. 3. When the politically correct liberal whackjobs get their claws in something, they'll circle the wagons and one little man will get crushed. 4. Jesse Jackson haha. 5. Al Sharpton haha. 6. Evan, Michelle Malkin is teh awesome. One day, maybe when your tinfoil hat is in the shop getting repaired, you'll see. |

If you ever see it at a library or thrift store or something, I recommend:
SCAM: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America by Jesse Lee Peterson "Black Americans do not need the kind of self-appointed leaders they currently have..." Exposes Jesse Jackson for what he really is. |

Evan, Michelle Malkin is teh awesome. One day, maybe when your tinfoil hat is in the shop getting repaired, you'll see. [/ QUOTE ] 1. This should simply be left to the free market. Al Sharpton made the asinine comment that "we need to start a conversation about what is allowed to be said on public airwaves." No we shouldn't. However, there is nothing wrong with the market responding to what it perceives as idiocy or indecency. If advertisers want to pull out, that's their choice. If the parent company is not comfortable with the host's language, that's their choice. If listeners decide to turn him off, that's their choice. But the LAST thing that should happen is any government intervention. 2. I'd fire Imus because this is not nearly the first prejudiced thing he's said. Also, he looks like someone lit his face on fire and put it out with a golf cleat (okay, personal attack, unfair) and he's self-important to the point of inducing nausea (substantive attack). 3. Recall that I'm a Libertarian, and I'm a free thinker. Malkin has impressed on rare occasions (her recent condemnation of Coulter), and she's not nearly the fire-breathing, dangerously stupid Hannity, but she can be pretty appalling. And she is reliably self-righteous to an absurd degree. |

[/ QUOTE ] I sincerely believe that Sharpton and Jackson rank very, very high on the list of reasons why this country still has deep problems with race relations. I wish this country would force them into irrelevance. |

Why is it that I used to have about 2-3 losing days in a month, and now I never have a winning day?
