khan had 9 million starting the hand right ? he raised to 6 million ? Why wouldn't he go all in in the dark, should he wait for the flop to push to gain any fold equity from yang ? No way u should fold to any flop yourself so is there really any FE if u push the flop? What am I missing here. [/ QUOTE ] you're not missing anything: - he should have just went all in preflop - since he didn't, he's not folding any flop - going all in in the dark vs. waiting for the flop to shove makes no difference in terms of EV, FE, anything |

[/ QUOTE ] The point is though, he has a hand that he would prefer to pick up an unchallenged pot with. By raising smaller preflop all he can achieve is to lure Yang in with a wider range. Then, having done so, instead of taking a flop and at least pretending like he's betting because he hit, he basically tells yang that his bet means nothing. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I also think it is a little sketchy that the other players and dealer stopped Yang from exposing his hand. If he makes that kind of mistake, that is his problem. [/ QUOTE ] sketchy? it was an honest mistake that is easily remedied. it's borderline angleshooting not helping. [/ QUOTE ] huh? [/ QUOTE ] if you're khan and deliberately letting him flip over his cards just to get the penalty (when you know he's confused), then you're a douchebag and are borderline angleshooting |

Yang isnt folding anything at 1-6 pot odds, give it up folks, he was basiclly all in and called pre flop and lost a coin flip .

You can't seriously fold AQs there. Whether he raises 6mil or all-in doesnt matter. All-in the in dark is of course mandatory once the donk flat calls.

Its not impossible, and it doesnt impact the EV (as long as he also finds a fold when it comes A or Q high) but it does probably decrease his chance of being eliminated. |
