Impossibly broad. I like some imbecile comedy, like some of the 3 stooges, but they had better set-ups. Three's Company not only did the same plots and plot devices over and over again, there was constant mugging and holding a spot for laughs forever that really weren't even there. Kind of like Carol Burnett on steroids where you just wanted to tell them, friggin get on with it already. After not too long, the show decayed to the point where it seemed they thought their audience must have been people on thorazine. |
