Having a great player on the DL sux huge balls because you can't drop them, so they just take up a huge roster spot for a good chunk of the season. It sort of handcuffs you.

I've got Maroney and Branch hurt right now but afraid to drop them. I'm assuming Maroney should rack up a ton of yards when he comes back for NE due to the fact they'll be leading a lot of games and he'll eat up the clock late.

Branch isn't a big deal, as I got Engram in his absense. When Branch comes back I'll dump Engram I suppose.

I'm not a huge FF nerd, but do they have leagues that let you IR a guy for like 4 games at a clip? That would be nice to free up a roster spot.

I need to upgrade QB, and I think Ben R. is a fine upgrade over either of my guys, right? Do I offer Lynch for him or do I part with a reciever like Fitz, though I doubt Fitz gets him. Help me SE.

Would you guys trade AP straight up for Brett Favre? (I'm pissed I was so high on Leinert this year to do something that 4/6 teams are in QB trouble because of him).

Eh... I should have noted that I only start 2 RB's. Do you start AP over Jacobs for the rest of the year now? I don't know enough about AP or Minny to assume the he continues to produce the way he is right now. Aren't teams more likely to stack the box and force TJax to beat them?

But I'll assume that Favre isn't good enough. I just don't know how long Anderson is going to be starting and I feel crappy having Garrard as my starting QB...even though I do love him.

Sorry for being lame, I would like to update:

Decided on Boldin & Walker as my top 2 guys (both expected to return this week).

I am 2-4 & desparate for immediate production. I don't expect much from Boldin this week w/ Rattay throwing vs. the Skins secondary. After that he has a bye. After that the Warner-Boldin connection has too much upside to not keep him IMO.

Driver has a bye, then Denver the next 2 weeks [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Am I crazy for wanting to drop Driver & gambool on Evans - who has the Ravens, Jets & Bengals the next 3 weeks?
Driver has much better match-ups than Evans later in the year, but there's a decent chance I'll be able to pick up Johnson & he'll be back by that time. Or should I just hang on to Driver?

This an 8team league w/ dumb roster restrictions if you're wondering.

Ride the Derek Anderson wave for as long as it takes you. Favre isn't an upgrade over the way Anderson has been playing. Long term he probably is, but it's not worth trading AFREAKINGP for him right now! lol.
