My roll is like $2350 now.. I wanna move up to 100NL, but I'm thinking about waiting til I have 3k. Bit too nitty? My playing style has kinda high variance fwiw. At what roll do you think I should move up, and at what point should i move down again if things go bad?

[/ QUOTE ]

roll has very little to do with it. when you feel like risking $200 on it, take a 2bi shot. set a number of hands or monies, then play to that limit. if you feel like you are +EV, continue, and if not, then move back down. obv if you lose everything, stay at 50.

given that you are only risking $200 of your roll, it doesnt really matter what your roll is, its more about how you feel at the new level.

I felt that opponent was weak on flop and turn, and wanted to protect against draws, river comes and I check to induce a bluff and it looks like I succeeded, but the over bet made me a little suspicious, I still have no idea where I'm at and force myself to call, then Its like, WTF? You called me down with that BS? Damn absolute is fishy.

I'd fold river cuz river overbets are usually for value in my experience. Glad it worked out for you though,.

on the subject of vids, i tried to open up my range a little bit but kept getting weak knees and stopped.

i dont think it is as profitable at 5NL as 50NL since there are just WAY too many callers. i had a KK hand that i raised with limpers in front and it ended up a family pot. how these people call with all sorts of trash i have no idea.
