I agree, I raise all PPs from any position unless I am OOP against a mega manic. I think that this also has an added advantage of randomising your play a bit, it means that raising UTG is not always JJ+ AK, AQ wich is what a lot of people limit themselves to.

i disagree with authors in playing for pot control on the turn with KK on a Th7c5sQh board. i'm betting again baby (or stack a donk)

I disagreed with a few minor points as well, but I think that the point of the article is to get us thinking about how preflop and postflop ranges/decisions are very much intertwined.

true, but if we start raising 6xBB with KK, we are not going to get action since 4xbb is so super standard online that a 6xBB raise puts everyone on alert. i mean i can try 6xBB of course and see if it works but i have a feeling it's going to go: raise pf, everyone folds.

Well the 6x bb thing is more geared towards live play, I'm assuming.

I really don't get the article at all. I'm trying to maximise my EV, not make my decisions as easy as possible. It's nice to be less bluffable but there are other factors to consider.

According to their scheme for the 6bb raise with KK, the implied odds for set mining must go way up.
