The problem with this thread is not BikesB's accusation of collusion between the two players. Maybe they were colluding, maybe not. Whatever. I don't think we'd be all hot and lathered now if that's all BB had said.
The problem is the opening began with a flatout, blatant accusation that PokerBob is cheating. That he's either in on it, or knows it is going on and is ignoring it and intentionally letting poor unsuspecting 2+2 visitors get fleeced. "then he is either involved or has decided not to let anyone know." Could you BE any more socially idiotic? Seriously, WTH? You lose a rack and start throwing around accusations of collusion at not just the two players you think are colluding, but at everybody who plays there. Did PBob do something at the table to seriously annoy you? You have some vendetta you're trying to settle on 2+2? I just cannot fathom this leap from "I got cheated by two guys playing together" to "it's PBob's fault".

Even though I was sure you were wrong the whole time your argument was at least somewhat logical. Now you are just being absurd and taking random shots at like every person who is a winning player in that game. If I'm playing 40/80 with Mike L and I raise the button with 89s he 3bets sb with something as he often does then I 4bet because I feel like it and then he 5bets and the flop comes AKJ what am I supposed to do? I tried to get cute, he showed me who the boss was and the flop was awful for me. As much as he might mess around with his 3bet preflop I doubt he is messing around with his 5bet so this flop is likely to hit him very hard unless he has QQ exactly and he knows that I can raise flops for no reason other than I feel like raising to see what will happen so he might not fold that either. Are we cheating to chop up the precious $40? Of course not.
Have you never played with a fish where you have the nuts on the flop and turn and cap it then out of nowhere they just check/fold the river? People make stupid plays all the time, but even the biggest retards know their efforts are hopeless at some point in the hand.

I've already PM'ed Bob to clear up any of my "accusations" in my original post. I'm done... sorry if I personally offended anyone (except for the two guys I strongly believe were working that short handed table as a team)...
If I am wrong... great... Like I said, I won't be back to this fly-over state for a long-long time and your game is safe. If I was right... I should have explained that their goal is to force the mark out of the hand, once they do then one of the two players usually finds a fold on the following street, or on the river if they dont suspect someone will ask to see the hands at showdown. My concept was correct, how I explained it was wrong. I'm very familiar with colluding techniques, and I'm also one of a handful of people on this forum that has experienced the work of a real-life mechanic (only one time in my life). I'm sorry but it really sounds like this is just sour grapes from you because you got owned in the game. PS: My comment to steam was really aimed at him, as a poster he has come a long way. He is beginning to deliver some quality stuff!

[/ QUOTE ] i guess i ought to reply to this as well. i was the first to move to the main game, which was not all that good. there was one really juicy spot in the game. he BUSTED, and that is why i was moved to the game. i am not great at poker, but i am damn good and the guys in that game know it. it is not at all strange that trading a total ATM for a guy who beats the game would be enough to make the game unplayable for several guys. the same thing happened the other night. UIGEA racked up and left, and the game basically shut down. anyone who knows anything about live limit hold'em understand this. OP clearly does not.
