I'm just curious why several graphs seem to have lines that totally converge at the end [/ QUOTE ] It looks like that for certain tight styles, the set of available showdown hands is skewed towards ones where you run hot, as you fold hands that didn't make the the nuts or close. So you'll appear to running better than your early street EV would dictate. This is a pretty major flaw in this analysis. The only way to solve this is to limit that analysis to all in hands on the street the money went in. As it is, you can still get a good idea of how you run over the short term, and how well you play using the available filters, but the blue and red lines won't necessarily converge. Think of the red line as "Sklansky bucks" - a measure of how often you put your money in good on showdown hands - instead of "expected showdown winnings". |

I want to post some graphs but I'm relatively unsure of the way this system works.
I was actually surprised by how accurate my perception of how bad I ran was-- if that makes any sense. |

cool toy phil but i have a couple questions that may or may not be obv.
1) say you have aa and you get heads up with a villain who has kk. somehow you get 500$ or 50% of your stack in preflop. unfortunately kk flops a set and you lose the rest of your stack on the flop. a) do you get credit for the sklansky bux earned pf? b) are you considered an 80% favorite pf, as if the hand went to sd? or is it determined on a street by street basis? 2) i play limit so often i am involved in multiway pots. does the program account for the time that i fold before showdown but i still see my opponents hands. say i have aa and get 4 bets in preflop 3way. flop is 4h5h6h and some bets go in. turn is 7h and its bet and raised in front of me and obv i fold. do i get credit for sklansky bux pf and on the flop? |

it means you're running about average, win lots of pots without showdown but really really suck at folding rivers/in general

Ok here is my graph from when I short stacked Stars in january (NL 5000). I ran 80 Buy in below expectation is that even possible ?
![]() My expected showdown value was 120k and I actually won 40k at showdown. That is your proof that Stars is rigged. |
