Yeah, and his "3 Men and a Baby" joke before that and actually calling Hurley Hugo. His demeanor was very authoritative and whimsical (not with his normal guile).

I suppose they're foreshadowing, every so slightly, a confrontation.

this has been infuriating to me. the snow hut and the phone call to her from the Portuguese guys was an awesome twist to throw in at the end, and it's been completely ignored. at this point I can only hope they show us 30 more seconds of this before this season ends so I can be teased more.
