Alright I may be losing my mind on this one a bit. 6th inning last night with the Phils down 2-0 Nunez & Ruiz lead off with back to back doubles. Garcia has thrown 70 pitches and is pitching well. I'm figuring Manuel is taking him out of the game because of the "injury" the day before.

So as I'm reading the story this morning he says Garcia could have gone longer, but he wanted to win it there. Why would you not bunt Ruiz over to third? Let Rollins tie the game by just making contact. The bullpen is terrible and could clearly use the starter going 7 or 8 innings. They still tie the game, but then bullpen allows two more runs.

Am I starting to over nit pick here? It just looks like another one of those games (there are at least 5-10 a year) where they lose a game that can be tied to a stupid manager's decision.

With a good bullpen, it might have been an acceptable decision. With a 2 man bullpen, it wasn't.
