i'm not saying that it's def a scam i'm just saying we had discussions about how it could be, and how allowing it opens the door to a ton of begging. i mean this guy was relatively new on the scene right? yet somehow milked you guys for 10k? regardless of whether or not it was a scam or not!
what's next, someone's house burns down.. they can come to bbv for a quick 10k? how about if someone goes to vegas and loses their whole bankroll at BJ? go to bbv! what if it was a respected long-time poster? wow.. i wonder if they could get upwards of 50k with ease. could be a new tragedy every week.

yea this whole thing was bad for bbv/2+2 and the main reason why i refused to donate any to them...i was really uncomfortable with the whole situation. hope it turns out it wasn't a scam.
