I was reading an article that said that D. Mart (more a coach than player) was explaining some plays to Luke Jackson and Joey was getting more out of it than Luke

OMFG!!!! Tonight is the most intense game I have ever seen.

What an outstanding game, I literally leapt out of my pants when Mopete made the ridiculous 3. Awesome!!! In the entire Raptors history this is by far the most exciting game I've ever seen. I just lost my voice watching the game tonight.

Outstanding game by Joey G tonight. Bosh shows us why he's one of the best players in the league, he was unstoppable.

Just awesome, with so much on the line and without Bargnani and Garbo we somehow pulled it out. Leo and Chuck says this game tonight will define the Raptors from now on. Bosh agrees and so do I. The atmoshpere was so intense, I thought I was watching an NCAA game. just wow!

I don't get to catch many raptor games anymore because they aren't shown too often on sportsnet nowadays but does anyone think that the raptors would be better off with Calderon over TJ Ford? It seems like Ford shoots way too much and doesn't get enough people involved. For example, tonight, Ford played 29 min and shot 10/22 with just 6 assists where as Calderon played 23 min, went 0/5 but had 8 assists.

I totally forgot today's game was not on TV and only shown on Raptors TV. For those of you that didn't see it, it was by far the most insane game you will ever see. The highlights did not do this game justice. The last few minutes of the game lasted an eternity with the Raptors all but dead but somehow came back and won it in overtime.

I've been a big Calderon supporter (and one of the biggest Ford bashers you'll meet) but tonight Ford was totally on. He got into foul trouble and was fouled out of the game. Prior to that Ford was a huge factor for the Raps win tonight. Not surprisingly Ford fouled out and Chris Bosh totally took over the game

The truth is even within Raptors management most will agree that that Calderon could definately be the starter and may even surpass what Ford offers. The only difference here though (and this is key) Ford has a much bigger 'potential'
than what Calderon can bring. Ford is much more athletic, he's one of the fastest point guards in the league. He's only 23 and the upside for Ford is huge. I agree with this and this is coming from one of the biggest Calderon fan and Ford basher out there.

The last few games though we saw how Ford can just take over a game. Even tonight he made some really creative plays and totally broke down Washington's D in the 4th before fouling out.

David Lee is a restricted free-agent at the end of the year, I'd love it if we somehow got him in the off-season

I watched that MoPete replay online about 25 times on a loop, awesome seeing the player's faces when it went in, Sam Mitchell's reaction, The Wiz's stunned looks, the people in the crowd, just a great finish to a great game (which I didn't get to see, I need to spring for raptors tv).

The call by the swirsk was awesome, he was so enthusiastic. "I don't believe it! I don't believe it!"

lol i love it
what was better

a) Smitch's reaction to Mo-Pete's 3 yesterday
b) Smitch's reaction to TJ's buzzer beater in LA vs the Clips
c) Smitch's reaction to Bosh's 3/4 court 3 pointer

i say probably #3 but they were all great
