Jezus. Down 3 buyins in an hour. Too many setup hands + some tilt. I hate all these 50BB stacks, cause I get TPTK, or an overpair, or top two pair, they flop a flush, I bet flop + turn, they raise all-in for their last $10, and I know I should fold, but UGH.

My lifetime 50NL graph is really really sad.

not a good weekend (please excuss the moan). I lost 20% of my bankroll on bad plays, bad cards and getting out drawn and then had to cash out most of the rest to buy a new car. Looks like I'm back at the 10NL/25NL tables. At least I think I'll start looking at playing more 6max now

1. I was thinking that some good advice for beg NL players, would be to read everything in the FAQ's and Master Sticky- 2-3 times, before posting anything.

2. Also thinking if you were to teach someone how to play NL. For the first time you teach them about C-betting, is there a percentage of the flop they should bet each time? I'd say bet 75% of the flop each time when you c-bet. Althought my percentage may be off, I think teaching someone a percentage to stick to may be very good for someone just starting out. In fact, I don't know if I or other Micro players would be better off C-betting a certain percentage everytime rather than changing it up. This is because we may be doing more harm than good, betting differnt percentages of the pot each time.

Whatcha think? Thanks!!

There is a great thread on cbetting here, from the SSNL forum. This might be worth linking to. Also Munkey did a great post that links to a bunch of threads that also deals with such topics (and a lot more) here.

The FAQ needs some adapting and will probably change as uNL grows. Also, hopefully we'll get more buried treasure posts like matrix128's one here.

Yes a well hop would be good then we microNLers could ask a range of questions - if you want to write a post too - perhaps about why minraising is so bad (except RR pots )- every 10th hand post I read has a minraise in it.

CALLING $8 POT-SIZED RERAISES WITH 88 WITH $42 BEHIND DOES NOT EQUAL GOOD IMPLIED ODDS. FFS.
