[ QUOTE ]
I don't know if it's time to cut my losses and move ahead, or if that would be a waste of a lot of time and energy that we've both invested to keep going this long. [/ QUOTE ] Inertia sounds like a good plan, go with that. |

But, living in the same city can't help but improve things, and I almost feel like I owe "us" that---see how things go when we live in the same place. Residency will be no cake-walk, but both of us being out of school will also likely help. |

offtopic, I suspect it has more to do with the fact they didnt wanna carry a heavy ass bag of golf clubs to wherever it was they were going on their getaway run, than anything power of mom stuff. [/ QUOTE ] The thing is, though, that the stuff got taken last Thursday night, and we're 90% sure the bag wasn't leaning against the back of the apt building until yesterday. I would think if the bag was too heavy, they would have just dropped it...they had to make a detour to put it where we found it. |

Here is something random, from this weekend:
Got home from late night pokering this past saturday morning around 4am. Walk up the sidewalk to the house and spot a Beagle sitting there at our front door wagging his little tail off. Appears to be in good condition, not abused or anything. Older female doggie. Cute. Have never seen it around the neighborhood. Decide someone probably is missing this dog. Take it in, feed it, put it in the garage with some blankets and water/food. Next morning, we wake up and drive around every neighborhood in the area, looking for lost dog signs. Nothing. Put the dog in my backyard. Go put up signs at the entrance to subdivision, and a couple main roads near the house. Dog escapes from the backyard at some point during this time. Dog comes back like two hours later, scratches at the front door. I let dog in, feed it, put it out back again. Doggie doesn't leave, just naps on the deck. Later that night, we go to sleep, dog goes in the garage again. Next day, (monday) dog goes to the backyard, escapes again, gets brought back by my next door neighbors. Neighbor says hey, mind if my kids play with the dog later this afternoon? I'm like sure, come on over when they get home from school. They do, we bring the dog out front, and my other neighbor's kid comes walking up from school too. Says, "hey, what are you guys doing with my dog?" "This is your dog?" "Yeah" "It's been missing at my house for two days. Did you not know it was missing?" "Really? I had no idea" WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW YOUR DOG IS MISSING FOR TWO [censored] DAYS? I am currently trying to figure out a way to get their 3 dogs away from them. This dog lived next to me and I'd never seen it before. That means they've never walked it, never played with it that I know of. Also, they leave their dogs in the backyard all night and they bark...all night. Ridiculous. |

Shajen,
Maybe they just don't care about their dog? My roomates got a cat a few months ago (I was gone for a few weeks so this is all second hand stuff) from the animal shelter for no apparent reason. Turns out the thing is [censored] psycho. Ends up trying to claw people to death in their sleep, seriously. So it gets out and they don't really care to look for it at all, they end up actually seeing it when they are out to lunch and just say [censored] it and let it run off never to be found again. Hopefully a homeless person ate him or something. |
