Gorie, you really should start a new thread if you want to explore this thing fully. Basically, the chasm lies in the fundamental differences in the way males and females view sex. You can't just say, "Oh, so a girl who sleeps around is a whore, but a guy who does the same is a role model?" because the same mean (sex) is directed towards different ends most of the time.

But like I said, a different thread is needed - and not necessarily in this forum, I don't know if it would better fit here or elsewhere - to really flesh out this subject.
