Oh...and why does Sandy Alomar Sr. think that Delgado can score from first everytime someone hits a double behind him? Please stop it.

[/ QUOTE ]

In fairness, on that play last night both throws by the defense were hard, quickly turned, and right on line, and they had to be to get the out. Delgado usually scores on that ball.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep, it was played in very quickly and they still only got him but a little bit.

Plus, if you hold Delgado, then Milledge gets walked and it's up to Glavine to drive in the run.

Yes it was a nice assist, I'll agree there. I am just seriously hating Delgado at the momemnt. Maybe not to the BobO hating Glavine level, but it's close for me right now.

Well Delgado is most likely going to be starting first next year too. I can't see the Mets being able to move him in the offseason. So one more year of him. Unless there is another way around it that I'm not seeing.

He's the man for now and needs to get his bat going while Beltran is on the DL. This is gonna be an interesting week.

Gary brings up a good point. Perez gives up alot of fly balls. So what does Willie decide to do? Trot out the outfield of Alou, Anderson, and Green. Gotta love it.

Edit: Ahhh, Perez with a first inning error. I love this team sooooo much.

Sure double play and out of the inning. Instead, 3 run home run.

Brian Lawrence is starting tomorrow and Sosa is now 100% bullpen? He hasn't started a game in the majors since 2005. Awesome, gonna get swept in Milwaukee.

Edit: Eh, he's 8-2 with a 3.87 era in New Orleans. But he has an agreement with the team that if another team wants to sign him to a deal he can go at anytime.

Willy has lost his mind. I didn't mind his bad decisions as much when it seems like his clubhouse management is making up for it. It's gotten to the point, though, where he's actively hurting the team with his decisions.

CASTRO!!!!! Ahhhhh, thank you for briefly bringing me back from the edge.

TFG,

I can't wait for the first preseason game man. I need to get away from baseball for a bit. Last night's game killed me.
