Ran horrible earlier tonight...down 4 Bi's in under 30 mins...

-Set over set
-Nut flush lost to runner runner boat
-FH over FH
-Bluff ran bad.

So I quit...


But I couldn't sleep, so I decided to single table 100NL and get a taste for my next level. Well, 3 of us kept playing back at one another and I was up a good bit and had unchecked Auto-post, about to head to bed, happy that I found out that I'm comfortable up there.

So, I'm UTG and this is literally, my last hand because I have to get up in 6 hours for work. Enjoy

I would have bet the absolute HOUSE that he did NOT have the flush and was 90% sure he only had a K. Since I did NOT have the A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], I wanted to see the turn was not a club and then go to war. I knew if another non-broadway card hit, I was still good, hence the call.

That's my honest-to-God thinking. That said, valid and solid or ???

yeh, i've been doing this when i have a reasonable made hand vs a probable combo draw.

here though, i think you might maximise your expectation by getting it ai vs TP (if you think he might call) and flushes on the flop.

Give them a ring before you go because the tourneys are not every day, I would highly recommend the w/e beginners games though.
