Wasn't he the one on the Panthers who was caught up in the steriods scandal?

[ QUOTE ]
Ticky tack call but it gets called all the time, just not against the Patriots usually.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree they do throw the flag on that kind of crap sometimes, but at least 80% of the time, that's a no-call. This is the playoffs. That was garbage.

Look, the WR is running a go route basically straight up the field. The CB cuts him off and pushes him out of bounds with body contact. The WR makes contact with the CB because of the pass interference by the CB.

[ QUOTE ]
It is pass interference by either team when any player movement beyond the line of scrimmage significantly hinders the progress of an eligible player of such player’s opportunity to catch the ball.

[/ QUOTE ]

[ QUOTE ]
Cutting off the path of a receiver by making contact with him without playing the ball.

[/ QUOTE ]

It was obvious the sole reason Samuel cut across the receiver was to prevent him from making the catch, and NOT Samuel making a play on the pass...

So if you interpret the rules literally and apply them to that situation the call fits. Just like the "Tuck Rule." It's a BS rule, but a rule nonetheless and was properly applied to the NE/OAK a couple years back. Doesn't mean Brady didn't fumble, just means there was a loophole that allowed the Patriots to win that game...

Well someone takes their sports too seriously, FYI about the Tuck Rule there needs to be indisputable visual evidence which means if 100 refs went in a room they would all overturn the call no way that is true for the tuck rule.

[/ QUOTE ]
the brady call was correct.

and i don't take my sports as seriously as my hobby of pointing out morons.

[/ QUOTE ]
Well generally I don't tell people I've never met they should have been aborted because they dispute a call in a football game but that's just me.

[ QUOTE ]
(OK, the TD run wasn't that bad).

[/ QUOTE ]

That play was demoralizing to Denver to realize how easily they could have run for 1 yard earlier.
