Rumor: Michael Mizrachi, The Grinder (recent 1M+ tourney win, multiple smaller wins) BUSTO. Pit games.

I remember before he won any wpt events he used to play in the stars 100 game a lot, and I noticed a couple months back he was playing one table of 30/60 all day. maybe it was someone playing on his account but those are pretty weak stakes for a poker millionaire.

Another off topic post, but at the Rio during the WSOP, I was playing craps and doing my stupid hard eight bets when the stickman told me that John Pham had been there the night before and put $700 on the hard eight. It hit and he pressed it, and it hit again for $70,000. I didn't think the limits were that high, but this came directly from the stickman.

I know that Mizrachi was 100% staked in his tournies. I'm guessing he got between 40 and 50% of what he won. Not sure about the broke part.

He probably played at the $50 / $100 min. split craps table. One side has a $50 min, the other a $100 min. It was at the latter, during the WSOP, that I saw a Greek gentleman get a marker for $50k and proceed to explain to everyone that his nephew is learning the game. First roll... 7 out.

I know Mike a bit and I am pretty sure he is not busto.

P.S. he has a very solid staker, however.

He, like many other tournament pros has a backer and may not take as much from the tournaments as youHe, like many other tournament pros has a backer and may not take as much from the tournaments as you imagine. I played baccarat a few months back with his backer at the bellagio. I do not know their arrangement but I’m sure its lucrative for both parties.
