These threads make stunning reading - of course, I havent gone through all the posts and I don't play at a level where I would ever have met ZeeJustin or any of his identities but I was wondering if anyone has studied the video available on bitorrent of his party poker big win and, if so, if any of his identities "met" at single tables which went on to provide him with an obvious unfair advantage?

I mean the guy is a cheat in PP's and PS's eyes - there is no way round this - there is no explaination around it but I would be interested to know the level of his cheating.

Indiana,

you clearly do not understand what the word 'ethically' means, please stop using it.

Look at anybody who makes big bucks in our soceity? You name me one of them (not professional athletes and stuff) who makes over 200K and isn't a bit unethical?

Ok Ok, Indiana's a [censored]. I didn't come over to this forum to prove that I know what ethics are or anything. I simply feel bad for this ZeeJustin guy and I thought that there might be others who don't want to see his life ruined. Obviously, I was wrong. Yes I do have a weakness in arguing my points I know, I'm just a math geek with no common sense. Fine. Please don't hijack this thread or attack me personally. This isn't about me or my poker abilities or anything else.

I thought it was obvious the witches thing was a joke. . . I am just saying it is a horrible analogy designed to add hyperbole into a discussion that already has quite enough of that. His $137k score is as kosher as any you have had. It may annoy you, but it doesn't change the facts.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, but the witches thing was an analogy, and you bitched at me for using an analogy (your quote: "why use an analogy at all."). So that irritated me.

I didn't say that ZeeJustin was a murderer, or even that he was like a murderer. I didn't compare ZeeJustin to a murderer at all.

I said that:

Murder and attempted murder: intention is the same
cheating and busting out six times vs. cheating and winning the whole thing: intention is the same

Or, to frame it as an SAT question:

"Attempted murder" is to "murder" AS "cheating and losing" is to "cheating and winning."

His 137k win doesn't annoy me. And if they confiscated his legitimate winnings along with his illegimate winnings, that wouldn't annoy me either. He cheated, and whether he won or lost when he cheated is irrelevant.

Ok lets just pretend we were playing B&M poker and not online. Then lets pretend its 50 years ago. You get caught cheating at an old school poker game you get thrown off the boat/table/planet. With nothing personal involved, why should anyone (including Party) believe he didn't make a good portion of his profit by participating in other schemes/collusion? If you decide to break the rules, you should expect to get thrown out and get your money snatched. Its more lenient than how they used to deal with this sort of thing.

I don't believe you. Is this some sick attempt to get ZeeJustin to come to your house and show you his mad SnG Skillz in exchange for you publically defending him?

Sad.

I wasn't attacking you, I was attacking your argument, much of which is contingent on your definition of 'ethics', almost all of which is inaccurate.
