I like Well, but most people don't know how to cook a Well steak. A Well steak is NOT cooked on a hot, open flame. A Well steak is slow cooked, so it gets cooked all the way through, doesn't end up burnt on the outside and stays juicy on the inside. It takes a while to correctly cook Well steak. [/ QUOTE ] Most places don't cook well like that because it takes too long. Generally people who order a steak well done don't know what the [censored] they are doing and will bitch when their steak takes 20 - 30 mins to cook. |

Also can someone explain to me why the rib eye is so good? I've gotten good quality rib eye's from a local butcher shop, but after i grill them it just seems like the meat to fat ratio is not good, I'm always wanting more after it's gone yet while eating it i get tired of having to always cut around the large lines of fat. I guess that's why i prefer the ny strip, easier to eat. [/ QUOTE ] I have a love-hate relationship with ribeye. It's such a pain to eat, but it does taste wonderful, at least to me. I do like it a lot if I'm going to try any kind of sauce. It's got a strong enough flavor that it's not drowned out, which can happen with strip. |
