haha, nah.

this guy makes sites for some of the affils.

[/ QUOTE ]

He has several websites he designed for affiliates registered to him. I would not automatically assume he is the affiliate because in 2 other cases I know he is not the affiliate but the domain is registered to him. On the other hand I guess it cant be 100% ruled out either.

[/ QUOTE ]

I can rule that out being busterstacks 100%.

Also I knew nothing about this person and had never had any dealings with him. If someone (if some or all of you) want to post this in rogue section at RRR about this feel free. If you want to send me something so I can make something in my own words thats fine too.

Why is this thread no longer "stickied?" I think that was a good move, it should stay at the top of the forum for at least a few more days.

It hasn't moved from the top since it was un-stickied. I don't think this will move from the top until there is some resolve to the issue other than busterstacks being a total [censored].

Eh, eventually people will run out of things to add to this thread (I don't think there's much more to be said). When I posted my comment it had fallen down to page two.

When I was signing up with empire I had two affiliates offer me the same %, Busterstacks and Sublime. I felt like Buster was untrustworthy, but am sad to have been proved right. Sublime has been an exemplary affiliate. I guess I got somewhat lucky. Hope all you who got shafted run really well at the poker tables.

Those who have continued to play after the Empire split will receive full payment for October. I will likely not even make my quota for MGR this month, so those that chose to jump ship will forfeit your payments to cover my obligation to my loyal customers. Any remaining funds will be used to cover website costs, employee payments, and referral bonii.

In short: If you bailed, you're SOL. You know who you are.

[/ QUOTE ]

I can't see why anyone would play another hand under you after this. For those who want to keep playing on skins, there are still others to choose from.

There is still time to admit you are wrong and pay your players.

I'm noticeably older than most readers and posters here. Would someone please explain this cultural reference to me as I don't get it at all.

Thanks, pokerswami

Well, that guy will very likely know how to get in touch with the suspect in question... which was the point of this thread... hope it's helpful.

[/ QUOTE ]

is there any legal recourse for the players? i.e. if enough people chipped in for a lawyer, would a suit hold up in court considering the circumstances? just wondering...

[/ QUOTE ]

Legal action?

Ummm...no
