I can't believe you guys don't find this show to be delightful. I don't care if nothing "happens".

BARRY: Do you hear that ghost singing?
RAMON: I'm half-deaf from the leaf blower.

I can sit back and listen to exchanges like that all night. If absolutely nothing "happens", that's OK with me.

Also "We're on the precipice of a clusterfuck." might be the funniest quote ever from a tv show.

[/ QUOTE ]

It really had a lot of wind taken out of its sails when Little Carmine told Tony Soprano that "We're on the precipice of an enormous crossroads."

My favorite line this week was from Charlie Utter: "Explain to me the difference between you, and a monkey in a tree."

That, and whatever his line was about, "You reporters had best pray that you don't see him, or I'll cut you all to pieces," while listening to Sarah Brightman sing Italian Opera.

Finally, Paul Ben Victor proves, once again, that the more Deadwood and NYPD Blue actors that get used here, the better the show will be.

I still like it. And I still tune in to see what is going to happen next. However, if I dont get some more answers soon I can see my enthusiasm waining.

Overall though, I like the style and pace. I just cant stay that interested in something out of curiosity that long. Im going to need something concrete soon. Well more concrete then John definitely not being regular/human/whatever.

I really love this show.

I also like the pace. I hope they don't reveal answers to quickly. The mystery and speculating is one of the best parts of the show. Also, I really like the characters and don't want the show to become over whelmed by the bizarre plot. It's like Twin Peaks started to really suck when they began revealing everything.

ok guys. i made it up to the point in ep one where the [censored] was firing the gun in the air and stopped it for whatever reason and decided that it wasn't worth watching the rest. HOWEVER since milch is the man behind the scenes i am HOPING i end up liking this show. for those who felt like i did after 75% of episode #1, has it gotten better?

Really liked this ep. In love with blond girl (the one who worked for Luke Perry). Starting to really really dig this show.

sublime,

I don't think I made it as far as you did when I first saw episode 1, but I really really hated like the first 20 minutes originally. But now I love it. I would definitely give the second episode a try, that's when I started to come around.
