I'm looking for some new jeans. I'm very tall and very skinny. So, long legs and small waist. Any recommendations?

Anyone got a recommendation for a casual/semi-dressy belt? I'm starting to like the subtle accessories a lot and one of the improvements i seek is belts.

I live in MN and the only time I ever wear jeans during the summer is to work on Fridays. And then its only because I can't wear shorts to work.

Could I please see a photo of you in the shorts that you wear when you go out?

Good point. I guess I've been avoiding any outings that would require me wearing something nicer then shorts + flip flops since the weather first hit 80.

Look good, look in, can wear like shoes since they have toe protection, and you kind of feel like a Roman warrior walking around in them.

I really really really hate these sandals. A couple of my friends wear them religiously during the summer and they look hideous. They seem to never quite be the appropriate footwear regardless of the situation. They come off too cheap/hippy/hiker/sloppy looking for me. I feel like they would only look right if you were like in a canoe or something.

-sidenote they also leave the most bizarre tan lines on your feet if you are outside in the sun for an extended time..

just my two cents

[/ QUOTE ]

I have agree - these sandals are not stylish at all. How are they better than Tevas, really? It's not like you could wear them anywhere remotely nice, unlike some other fashionable sandals.

[/ QUOTE ]

They're not better than Tevas, they're different. The poster was looking for something different. They're not for wearing someplace "remotely nice". They're an alternative to flip flops, which is what the poster was looking for. As for tan lines, you will have that problem no matter what you're wearing on your feet. If that's as serious as my problems get, I'll die happy.

Someone tell me again why shorts are no good? Are we talking about no shorts for going out? Why not?
