How come no one tried to bluff Jamie Gold with 42s? [/ QUOTE ] because he'd call? |

[ QUOTE ]
Antonio has shown that he is a top player of the game. After watching him on PAD and especially on HSP I can see that he's one of the best at switch hitting (tourney/cash). [/ QUOTE ] Antonio also played terrifically in the Will Hill Grand Prix (he finished 3rd). Only Johnny Lodden was anywhere near his level. |

So I guess this means Ivey didn't even watch HSP2, since Booth made an appearance there. [/ QUOTE ] They hardly showed him playing, though, IIRC. Any lipreaders know what Yukon Pottymouth was bleeped on? I couldn't figure it out, and his vocabulary seemed a bit broader than Hellmuth's or Matusow's. |

I love people ragging on Ivey based on watching 6 hands of poker.

Ivey said "I wished you'd put the chips in, that cash looks just so damn sweet" [/ QUOTE ] I thought Ivey said that to make Booth think he was going to call and try to get some kind of reaction from Booth. |

[ QUOTE ] Ivey said "I wished you'd put the chips in, that cash looks just so damn sweet" [/ QUOTE ] I thought Ivey said that to make Booth think he was going to call and try to get some kind of reaction from Booth. [/ QUOTE ] I completely thought Yukon was trying to represent AA, especially after he asked Ivey how much he [Ivey] was playing pre-flop. Now Ivey having no clue who Yukon is baffles me somewhat. Yukon plays high stakes live, tournaments, and is assumed to play high stakes online at FullTilt (I can't recall which name is supposed to be him though). Do amateur businessmen play AA that way? It seems that after Ivey re-pops it on the flop, the typical amateur or experienced amateur pops it again. I just can't really understand the line of reasoning that Barry G. stated Ivey had. |

An amateur might have a slowplayed AA, but he also might have flopped big too. At any rate, an amateur businessman moving in there is an overwhelming favorite to have KK beat, and almost never is he going to have complete air.
