alright mods. This is a serious comment. I would like to help next time someone presents you with documentation when soliciting donations in BBV.

I have a lot of experience with fraud and corporate governance and can help with verifying the authenticity of various documents or verifying the existence of people on said documents or the existence and status of any organizations accepting donations.

I smelled a scam a mile away with the Vig thing and I never donated.

I'm pretty positive this was a scam.

Think about everything that has to happen for it not to be a scam.

In December becomes popular in BBV by posting pics of his girlfriend and kid. In January he asks for money. The posting of the pics was strange. Not many people are willing to post pics of their family for the whole internet to see. While this is weird, there probably are some guys out there that like showing off their family. But when the same guy (who is relatively new to the forum) starts asking for money just a month later people should be suspicious.

Also, Mrs. Vig posts she never got a dime, but after they make up she says some of the money has been put to good use.

Why is all the money still in his poker accounts? He has had plenty of time to cash out, especially at poker stars where it is relatively easy.

When posters question Vig about playing on such a short bankroll he claimed he had a lot more money that is not online. Why didn't he just give her the money from his personal account if cashing out was such a hassle?

How is it that they have a huge fight where Mrs. Vig accuses Vig of defrauding the donators, and yet they completely make up and have a better relationship a couple hours later?

Vig's explanation was a complete joke and provides no actual evidence or makes any sense.

The "proof" that vig posted doesn't really prove anything. I have no idea what those documents mean or who Sarah A is.

This is too much weirdness for me to think it is anything other than a scam. Also, I don't think the way Vig and Mrs. Vig are acting is realistic at all. They also have very similar posting styles.

The solution is simple. Vig, Mrs. Vig and baby get down to Foxwoods, I will meet them their to verify her identity, the fact that she has cancer and that she is in fact aware of this site.

I think Vig's GF has never even heard of 2+2. He can easily prove me wrong.
