I thought one of the all-time great final tables was the unaired ESPN coverage of the lowball table a couple years back (the one that you could watch online). [/ QUOTE ] That one was amazing. "I figured you had a breakable Jack"...opponent had a breakable Jack. The game was triple draw 2-7. Is that still viewable online? I thought it was one of the greatest clinics of how to think through a poker hand ever seen. |

Also, up until this HORSE event, Chip Reese was probably the unluckiest player in poker TV history. Every time he was on a show he took insanely bad beats, coolers, etc. [/ QUOTE ] There is more "evidence" towards Chip Reese not being as good as a NL player than most others. Some points: - Doyle folding QQ in that spot only to Chip (and not other players) implies that Chip may be a bit predictable with his lines. - Andy's dismantling of Chip HU in small pots, only to get outdrawn repeatedly in the all-in ones. - What appeared to be all-in PF overbets from Chip at the end of the HU portion. - Chip not making an appearance on HSP, ever. Even Ivey showed up for season 3. This could mean that he doesn't like the TV time, but I'm speculating. |

Chip doesn't want to play NLHE cash games only. He plays mixed games and in the old days high-limit Stud/Razz.
Since HSP is HE only, he doesn't play there. |

There were some great reads during the coverage of the HORSE event but I think one of the overlooked ones was Ivey's allin with second pair (sevens) when Bloch checkraised him with the flush and straight flush draw.
