Can someone explain what happened involving Milton Bradley in the dugout? I turned it on right after it happened and am lost.

He threw a towel and knocked over some coffee onto Loaiza, who was obviously not happy and had to change his clothes.

why the hell did the broadcasters hate on Milton for 10 minutes straight? I thought it was funny that they asked Macha what happened with bradley and he answered: "well, we didn't want to waste any at bats, so we went out and got a couple runs with Swish and Scoot."

A's looking great in this game.

This is a much more general thing, but: why does TV coverage still use the offset camera angle? The majority of the shots in any MLB game are from just to the right of the pitcher/home plate. This oblique angle distorts the viewers' view. Its honestly refreshing when watching little league or other non-MLB games that show pitches from high-center. You get a much better feel for where the pitch is relative to the plate.

Obviously there's no reason a network can set up a camera in left-center that would prevent them from setting up in dead-away center, so why don't they? Multiple times per game, I see a pitch that seems a bit outside the plate or a bit inside that I think the ump gets wrong, but I can never quite tell, because my angle is all [censored] up. Yet there are other, non-MLB games that are shown with high center cams that are a completely different experience.

Does anyone know why the major broadcasts refuse to move their cameras over and insist on presenting an off-angle view?

My guess is that the pitcher would get in the way of the shot.
