If you're 40/30 I probably don't want you at my table,

[/ QUOTE ]

Why's this?

[/ QUOTE ]

I find good LAGs harder to play against then good TAGs. Not to say that all 40/30 are good, quite the opposite actually, but I'd much rather have a 40/10 then a 40/30 at my table.

If you're going to call me kit I prefer Kitt, but whatever.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm new around here and never heard of you before, but I'm enjoying the thread.

Never before have I so quickly changed my stance on someone's nickname.

Do you ever go on winner's tilt, and leave a table if you're up? Is that winner's tilt a fear of losing your stack, or just playing with too much confidence?

[/ QUOTE ]

The Kitt thing was from a MSN discussion with tufat23. He asked me whether my name was actually kitaristi, I said no, my name is Aleksi, and he said that Aleksi is a boring name so he's going to start calling me kit. I said I prefer Kitt (as in the Knight Rider car) and he said ok.

Winner's tilt, as you call it, is probably the only form of tilt that I do suffer from somewhat regularly. It's definitely the lose your stack part, not the overconfidence angle. I won't leave the table if I double or even triple up as long as the table is still good. But it's things like if I sit down to play a 1000 hand session and then happen to run megahot and win 4 buy-ins in 200 hands. I very often just quit for the day right there.

What is "cardrunners"?

[/ QUOTE ]

First off lol at you.

Second there's a thread about it on the front page of this forum called Cardrunners Best Of SSNL or something like that. CardRunners If you're not a member you are losing out on one of the most valuable learning resources available for NL cash games there is.

Favourite poker thread is probably the 50/100 hand vs. Mahatma thread and especially AJo Go All In's response. I'll find the link some time.

[/ QUOTE ]

Is the Mahatma guy that's posting in SSNL right now the Mahatma that plays uber-high? I'm confused.

Does he post at all? Does he post under a different alias?

If you had to choose between reading this forum, or reading a forum about higher stakes NL, with the goal of getting better, starting as a beginner (wow run on sentence!), which would you choose?

(i.e. should newbs read SSNL or HSNL?)

[/ QUOTE ]

No, the Mahatma guy in SSNL probably likes the player Mahatma and wanted that as a name. Idk. But he's not THE Mahatma, that's for sure.

He has made some posts complaining about some stuff, but no he doesn't post regularly or about strategy.

Newbs should read SSNL. For sure.

I like you kitaristi, but the thing about NEVER openlimping is a bit lol. Openlimping CAN have some merrits under some cirumstances. Other than that, nice well!

[/ QUOTE ]

I disagree with you but whatever. There have been a million discussion about this here in the past, no need to create a new one. Well ok fine, it can have some merits, but I think 99.9% of the time raising > openlimping.

Does 6th Sense only work on Party at NL200 and above or has it been modified from that?

[/ QUOTE ]

It works for all limits on Party, Full Tilt and Absolute. At just $30/month it's a [censored] steal.

[/ QUOTE ]

What is 6th sense?? Am I the only one with out a clue?

[/ QUOTE ]

I posted a link somewhere in this thread, but here it is again:

Sixth Sense Poker

There is also a huge thread about it in the 2p2 software forum.

Who is the player you least like to see at a table that you are at?

[/ QUOTE ]

Of all the players I've ever had at my table the one I'd like to see there least is either dbitel or 2Paul2. Out of all SSNL posters the ones I really don't want to see at my tables are probably Jamougha and Isura.
