Serge Ravitch.

Serge Radushkevich for the sake of this tourney. He recently changed his name to Ravitch, but PokerStars told him it'd be easier if he used his old ID.

Action is folded around to Greg Raymer in the cut-off who bets $1,200. From the big blind, seat six calls the raise. The flop comes Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Seat six checks, and Raymer bets $1,000. Seat six calls. The turn is the 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], and both players check. The river is the K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Seat six bets $1,500, and Raymer folds. Greg Raymer is now sitting with $7,000

Greg recently made a comment on the forums that he no longer has any bluffing equity. People aren't allowing themselves to be pushed around by him and are calling with everything.

Whether that's true or not, it may be impacting Greg's play.

...I have almost no bluff equity anymore, as I will get called by all kinds of weak hands with which the same player would never call most people.

Out. Came out of dinner break feeling good with t6800. I was sooo card dead all day, saw AQ once and TT once, other than that the only other pocket pair i saw was 44 and folded it under the gun. Made some nice plays just to stay afloat and went from t5600 to t6800 the level before dinner. Coming out of dinner the antes kicked in and I made a call for t675 in MP2 when MP1 raised with 99. Flop came AK3 and it went check/check, turn brings a brick and he bets out t750 and I almost jammed, but fold, he says he had a weak Ace and would have folded to a jam. Down to t6100 in the process, 4 or 5 hands later I open in EP for t700 with JTo (cards were irrelevant, I just wanted blinds and antes or to c-bet a flop).. player behind raises to t2500 i fold. Down to t5300.

Blinds hit me now and I see K8o, UTG+1 limps for t200 with about a 23k stack, folded to button who is short and he calls, sb folds and I check.

Pot: t950
Flop: KQ3 rainbow
Ok I check to open limper who had been active and he fires t700 into the pot. Button (has about t4000 left) thinks and mucks and I push. Guy tanks and says what do you got Q3? Blah blah blah, he finally calls with KJ.

Turn: 8
Wooooooooooooooooooooo!

River: Q
Nooooooooooooooooooooo!

He says something fairly unneeded and "prickish" I wish everyone good luck and head to the rail. I dont mind the play I made as he c-bets with Q's there or even TT, 99, JJ, etc and could be folded KT. I figured I would rather take a chance early in the antes level so I could make a run and probably dont regret one hand in the whole night.

I have now played the WSOP two times for a total of about 16-17 tables hours and have yet to see AA or AK. Saw KK once last year and QQ once this year. Fun stuff.

Just me or are the pros struggling more this year than ever? So many big names not making it past the first day. BTW, has Chan played yet?

Nope, its pretty much standard now that many pros bust on the first day. As Raymer has noted, many players believe they have no shot at the money, so instead they take shots at the pros hoping for a great story to tell about how they busted so and so, or how so and so busted them.
