[/ QUOTE ] Joe Smith has looked horrible lately though. Everything of his has looked very very hittable. Mets are in a pinch for a few days, carrying an extra catcher because of LoDuca's injury.

[/ QUOTE ] I'm pretty sure Sele would have to pass through waivers in order to get sent down, and they'd risk losing him. Besides, Joe Smith has been terrible lately.
