Hey, thanks to everyone who railed! Even though I couldn't see you I'm sure the borrowed karma helped! I just emailed Stars about that. I definately could see observor chat prior to the FT. If it's some setting I'm not seeing, I'd really like to fix it.
Yeah, it's a little disappointing to be chipleader with 4 left and then wind up in 4th. But given that chip lead was 2.5Mil vs 2.4Mil vs 1.5Mil vs 1Mil with a BB of 120K obviously it's going to be a tough finish. And I was shortstacked the rest of the FT leading up to that so I definately made the most of it up to then. Unfortunately, they only came over the top my steals when I had Q5o or 97o not when I had JJ, ATo (twice!) or A8s. Bottom line, it's my second most profitable day ever (after the time I won a WPT trip and played with Doyle Brunson - Did I ever tell you guys about that?) And going into these VIP Freerolls I'm sure everybody's expectation is pretty much zero. I know mine is. I was completely exausted after the thing. And starving, I hadn't eaten a real meal since breakfast (okay, breakfast at noon, but still..). Just some snacks during the breaks along the way. So I went out in the backyard at 10pm and bar-b-qued up some steaks and potatoes and had a nice dinner and some beverages. Good times, good times! |

It's kinda a good thing the Sunday million is the $500 variety this week-end or I'd be really tempted to parlay yesterday's donkament into another shot. But at $500 that's a little steep even with free money...
I'm been promissing myself the last few weeks I'd do at least one sattelite daily for the Sunday million or WSOP but I keep forgetting/not bothering and wind up only doing 1 or 2 a week. I'm really gonna try and stick to that now. |

This is Stars' reply:
[ QUOTE ] The policy is that we do not allow observer chat at the final tables is to avoid player's distraction. This is a standard setting, and we do not allow players to turn it off. [/ QUOTE ] |

CMAR,
Congrats on becoming a tournament superstar! I would like to recommend that instead of moving up to 100NL permanently, you should play more tournaments and keep crushing 50NL. Of course, my opinion is completely biased due to the fact that I would rather not see you at the tables... |
