In an attempt to move on with my bankroll challenge i've made a motivational propbet with a few friends on getting supernova by the end of the year.

I only have 9k vpp's from playing the microstakes most of this year so need around 91k more. I've worked out that i'll need to play around 70k of $25nl - 90k of $50nl - 170k of $100nl by the end of the year to make it.

I've had a few motivational propbets before for most hands in a month and one month i was 22k hands behind with 3 days and got in 28200 hands by 12 tabling the 6max fast tables, although i'll be only play fullring this time.

I'm getting 3/2 on the bet with probably $500 action.

What are my chances ?

real low. Trying to play 320k hands in the last 2.5 months of the year means you'll be playing all the time, and poker sucks if you have to play all the time imo. I'm curious as to whether you'd win much if you did complete the challenge; I've got to think your wr will suffer.

You do know there's only 2 1/2 months left in the year, right?

FWIW, it took me almost 3 months to qualify for Supernova 12-tabling $100NL full time (30-35 hours a week).

How many hours/week are you planning to play?

I shall be getting 140k VPP's by the end of the year and I haven't even played stars for a week. I had like 30k in the first 10 days of the month and I've already played like 80k hands. When I say volume, I meant mutha [censored] volume.

Prodigy - running 1.5ptbb/100 over 100k hands is the same as running 3ptbb/100 over 50k hands. (Just using these winrates as examples).

If you seriously want to get better, slow down and play fewer hands. If you aren't reviewing your hands, you are missing out on the biggest part of "experience". Just throwing yourself into 100k hand months to get VPPs and try and make bonus milestone isn't a good idea if you want to get better.

I would play less and study more, at least for a little while (at least a week) to try and fix leaks. If you can plug some holes while still playing a good amount of hands, your winrate will increase and then you will make more $$$ when you go back to the super-grind.

I've set my winrate goals pretty low so i dont lose motivation when running bad, "3ptbb at $25nl, 2ptbb at $50nl and 1-1.5 at $100nl" Aslong as i dont have a 30buyin downswing along the way i should be good. (reasonable?)

I'll be playing 8-9 hours most days.

3 questions. Please answer them.

1. Do you go to class?
2. Do You socialize, hang out, do normal college activities with friends?
3. Do you sleep?

If you answered yes to all of the above then answer this also. How do you get 30+ hours in each day?

Seriously, the most hands I have played in a month is 18.5k.

Some days I can't find time to play at all, I've only played about 4k hands in October (I 8-table too). Funny, I've doubled what I made last month... LOL at running hot.
