I don't know the details on this but I would urge anyone who can to deny pokertracker access to the internet using your firewall. I know there's an option to allow it to automatically update and if you have that enabled and have configured your firewall to always allow internet access to pt, you might have a problem.

Just a thought.

I tried to get my chat unbanned from the wrong email address. took 5 minutes for them to tell me it was wrong email. Sent request from right email, 3 hours later no response.

It's only dangerous if you download and install a phony update while the hacker is control of the site and the hacker has placed malicious code in the "update".

PokerTracker only advises you when there's a new update. You have to download and install it manually. So don't do this until Pat gives the all clear.
