In all seriousness I have thought about this and Willie using Anderson instead of Castro in the 7th is the 2nd dumbest thing I have ever seen a manager do.

For the dumbest I refer you to Game 4 of the NLDS between the Mets and Giants in 2000. Dusty Baker slaughtered that game for the Giants.

Almost every move a manager makes has some merits and some demerits, even when obviously dumb. Using Anderson instead of Castro just cannot be defended from any angle anywhere, it was just [censored] stupid.

Such a frustrating game. The go-ahead single by Langerhans was so cheap: weakly hit, but not so weak that it wouldn't have been a routine (inning-ending) double play if it was just two feet to the right or left.

Also, I wonder if Willie is getting pain killers for his shoulder that are affecting his decision-making. That was insane.
