[ QUOTE ] Really? Pena and Lester for a guy with those projected numbers? Hell, that looks like a steal for the Sox. [/ QUOTE ] everyone in this thread really hates wily mo pena, when in reality, he's actually got a ton of power and has serious potential. the fact that he will never get a full time job in boston does not make him expendable, a fact that you will soon realize when he is traded. [/ QUOTE ] I don't hate Wily Mo. I understand all of his potential and yada yada. But giving up a guy who won't play much and a medicore prospect for a guy like Laroche would be a good move, right? |

I heard some announcer say that Schill has found something in his delivery and its clicking for him, and that he feels better than he has all year.
I am just finishing up Moneyball, I never knew any of that stuff. I now am looking at Theo's Wiki page, I see that Bill James and Voros McCracken work for the Sox. Sweet. |

Tito tried to do something a lot of managers do, leaving a guy in after he's lost it so he can finish the 5th inning and get the win. He just hit a run in and Tito has no choice, he's out. [/ QUOTE ] Meh, all managers do that. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I know - I'm just saying that almost all managers do this for their pitchers, and nitpicking about it is pretty useless. |
