Its works well that's all that matter. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As dtan's post implies, it doesn't work well when you're playing multilple tables. [/ QUOTE ] yea you are absolutely right I was just looking at the ability to just scan the PokerStars lobby and produce accurate table/player stats within SS. Now that I've played I see what he is referring to...it's pretty much unusable if you are multi-tabling at all. It works fine just on initial setup to find fishy tables but once you start to actually play it is very frustrating.. I was only playing like 4-6 tables and because of the focus issue SS would scan 20/100 tables and be done with it. [ QUOTE ] If you are playing 2 tables, the lobby only loses focus when its your turn to act, so probably twice every 15 seconds or so. Yeah, its a pain. Perhaps I could add some hotkey that will return focus to the PokerStars lobby to make it easier. [/ QUOTE ] Ben you need that hotkey if possible thu I dont that will really fix the problem. Seems to me if you are playing more than 2 definetly 4 tables this is untenable. If you are 4-10 tabling the best thing to do is sit out and then run the SS scan...which is very disruptive obviously. is it possible that if we do decide to run scans while multi-tabling that the time-outs could be extended so the scan doesnt time-out so quickly ie only scanning 25% of the total tables because of an extended period where focus is not on the lobby ..if the timeouts are made longer that could be a work around. |

SixthSense PokerStars Scanner FIX
Users have been having problems using the Sixth Sense PokerStars scanner and Vista. Here's a configuration change that will fix the problem: - Go to Control Panel - Click the "Display" icon - Click the "Appearance" Tab - Click the "Effects" button - Change the font to use "Standard" and NOT "ClearType" (This might require a reboot) Then try the PokerStars scanner again, it should work. Let me know how this works out for you. -Ben |

few feature requests:
1. 4/8 nl on ftp 2. be able to filter out cap nl tables. they always cause my search to get screwed up 3. maybe an emergency method to scan tables for non-stars sites, similar to the method used to scan stars. this is not a necessity to me. the other 2 things are more important thanks, and thanks for the support recently |
