I see more and more interesting threads locked in that forum.
(Party thread, coaching threads etc). What is going on with that ? The forum is flooded with total crap and nobody locks it. When soem interesting thread appears the mods get going. WTF ?
You certainly should not lock those threads because they are interesting for many people. If this forum is not a good place for them just move them to proper one (but I think this is the proper one).

could you say more about this? Isn't it 99% hand reading, especially with those stats? I don't really get what you mean by 'perfecting your style'.

And do you think your winrate would go down if you played less hands?

A few things as November ends:

1.) I'm REALLY pissed that I missed the fun in the Grimstar thread. [censored] [censored] [censored] [censored] [censored], yes, that's five of them, I didn't get one single word in there! I didn't get to make a sarcastic psycho comment, I didn't get to tell Grimm I thought I was better than him even though he has more of a BR than I do, I didn't get to call him a hypocrite, I didn't get to appreciate that dynamite comment about having him coach you and not pay him (ingenius btw). Well, now I guess I sorta did, but you get the idea..

2.) I played maybe 20k hands in November, becuase I decided to play a bunch of donkaments. It was a terrible idea. There is too much variance in them, I kept getting coolered and sucked out on right when I needed the big double up or something. In all, I made a handful of final tables and probably broke even or lost money. However, I'm very glad that I did it in some respects because I now feel more prepared for the PCA and any other upcoming donkaments. Meh, I realize I spend too much time writing and talking about poker, and I need to spend more time playing it because I think I'm decent sometimes. So, I'll play a lot of cash in December, almost exclusively, look out.

3.) TalentedTom, you may not know or care who I am, but hotdamn you can be an honorary smartLAG.

4.) All, my birthday is tomorrow, I will be 20.

TT's style is basically raising small(from what I saw normally 2.5bbs) A TON and taking advantage of all those nits on stars. I played a week or 2 at stars 3/6 last month, and at first it looked like it was retarded but then I saw how his style works well due to the style of play in general at that site, at that limit.

not sure that style will work at higher limits though- people won't put up with that there( I certainly wouldn't). But with the money your making there is no reason to move up. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

another solid session but as I was closing out all my tables I got down to the last one, got an overpair and of course stacked off w/ 75% equity- fkin straight draws are so much better when u go allin on flop i guess.
