I think koloture is happy as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see them miss CL next year. Mark Gonzo is out at least 3 weeks as well. They better get buys in the transfer period!

I don't understand why Benitez continues to purchase Spanish players considering none of them have performed well on a consistent basis besides Xabi Alonso and even his presence forces them to play Gerrard out of position on the right.

Rafa doesn't seem to know that a "team" is a collection of players who play together. That he frequently buys and picks players who can show individual flair but rarely work well together tells me he's missing some important managerial skills. Playing Alonso and Garica in the same side is one too many "luxury" players for an english team.
