There was actually a guy who was a Cop in Portsmouth, VA that was convicted of raping his girlfriend's 14 year old daughter. Soon after everyone discovered his identity, I was transfered to another part of the prison, so i'm not sure what happened, but I would assume he was moved into a protected unit.

Yeah both are possible. But you could just put in for a transfer to somewhere where you're not required to work. Not everyone has to work. Honestly, you really want to work though because it passes the time and allows you to buy things.

They're both about the same, really. Some of them are assholes, some are just doing their job, and some are actually cool. CO's can't arrest you and don't have police powers. The thing is, is that there's actually some good cops and good CO's out there. I would probably say there are more good CO's.

No, I was trying to leave when my time was up, not hang around for another 5 to 10. I saw a knife made out of a toothbrush... not many other things. Mostly people fought with their hands. One guy was killed while I was there... him and his cellmate were fighting after lockdown, so they were locked in the cell... one of the guys hit his head on the little table and later died from the injuries.

I'd be interested in what you have to say, but have no idea if these things are played out yet, or if your subject matter is as far removed from this or the prosecution one.

Anyway, given some of the junk threads that get started I'm sure yours would be far more compelling. I say go for it.

I already answered this, but blacks and whites hung out together to an extent. There's definitely cliques of all colors that keep to themselves, but you wouldn't be harmed simply for associating with someone of a different color. There would have to be another reason.

Yes, people made alcohol. You'd obviously be in trouble if you got caught, though.

No, they're not allowed to, but it still happens. There's plenty of theft.

I was set up by a "friend". He was busted with alot of ecstacy, and was sent with a wire to buy some from me.
