The hands down winner is the Tracy Ullman show.

Without it we would never have the Simpsons, which might be greatest show ever.

Reminds me of another obscure Fox show that launched a few careers - "The Edge"

Cast list of then known and unknown is impressive:

Julie Brown
Jennifer Aniston
Wayne Knight
Tom Kenny
Charlie Kaufman
Edd Hall

Julie Brown's website has some clips from the show. Select Video A for a great takeoff on Wilson Phillips with Brown and a very young Aniston.

1 and done-
Square Pegs (starring an even uglier version of SJP)
It's Your Move- Jason Bateman
Firefly
Tilt (so bad it was good)

2 seasons-
Sports Night
Get A Life
Joan of Arcadia (my wife sucked me into this one, but it was pretty good)

And a mention for Arrested Development, which only got 1/2 of a third season.

I also really liked Space: Above & Beyond

Anyone remember that one?

[/ QUOTE ]

It was going to mention it if no one else did. The special effects were horrible, but the story-line and charater development were very very good.

Tony Shalhoub and NPH, whats not to love

I couldn't remember the name of the show, but this is it. It was hilarious--doogie and tony played off each other so well. I was bummed when this show went away.

[/ QUOTE ]

I really liked that show, too. However, they seemed to run out of ideas fairly quickly into the series' run, and the last few episodes weren't very good at all. It's too bad, because the show had so much potential.

That show was awesome!

I was going to say G vs E but according to imdb it had two seasons. Does it count if the second season ran on the TV Ghetto (Sci Fi or something) instead of the network it started on)?

because that show ruled

Agree with 'Profit'. Also:

on TNT. And not just because of Alicia Coppola (though she didn't hurt).

Sticking with the FOX theme...Herman's Head.

I loved this show. It ran three seasons though.

I also thought about the George Carlin Show. Which was great but ran two seasons, but only like 24 episodes.

Greg the Bunny would be my vote, though that has a lot to do with a monster lust for Sara Silverman.

Also, Clerks:the Animated Series. I thought there was six episodes. I was a bit disapointed except for the second episode where they did a flashback episode, but only had one episode to flashback to. God that was funny.
